3/31/2020 0 Comments New SchedulesGood Afternoon, Mighty Meadowlarks!
Boy, it is sure difficult being responsible for your own work schedule! How are you making time for Math, ELA, Science and all the other activities required to maintain your learning?!? It is difficult with all the distractions that are happening at home. Do you have your own quite place to work? Do you have a time for each subject you are working on? How do you do it? I know it is difficult for me too... I was hoping to have new art posted in the morning each day, but obligations at home postponed my updates until now!!! I hope you are able to make this new schedule work for you. It really takes dedicatoin.

3/30/2020 0 Comments Welcome Back from Spring BreakGood Morning Mighty Meadowlarks! I hope you had a good spring break! During my spring break I stayed home! I baked some cookies, played in the yard and read some books. Now it is time to get back to work and start thinking about art projects and learning that you can do at home! Today I posted a link to Mo Willems Daily Doodle on the 2nd grade page: All of you are invited to do this project if you are interested. The author of Waiting is Not Easy and The Pigeon Has To Go To School is an Artist Resident (they hired him to work for one year) at the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. They are paying him to make artwork for their program. His Daily Doodles are live every day at 1:00 Eastern Time (11:00 AM in Utah). I think you can also see archived videos if you want to catch-up on your doodling! I will be adding more links throughout the day today and throughout the week I will also be posting new projects related to what we were working on in class. I am very disappointed that we won't be back in school until May! We were making some incredible clay projects and paintings to share with our families. If things go well, I will rush to get those done when we return to school Happy Monday and I am very happy to be helping you make more art at home, outside and beyond! 3/19/2020 0 Comments No More ShakesHi Art Students!
